King-Care Pet Center was founded in 2007 by Dr. Joe King, as a boarding, and training facility for dogs and cats. In October of 2009, Dr. Gregory Bogard joined the King-Care Pet center by opening the Running V Vet Clinic a small animal veterinary practice.
Dr. Bogard completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech before attending vet school at Texas A&M University. He is a 1968 graduate. During the next 40 years he built a successful practice at the Tomball Veterinary Clinic, in Tomball, Texas (a suburb of Houston). Dr. Bogard and his wife, Judy, had always wanted to live and work in the Texas hill country; so in 2008 they sold the Tomball practice and bought property outside of Junction..
The Running V Veterinary Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The King-Care Pet Center is open Monday through noon on Saturday for boarding, and training.
